Pistachio kernel differs in types, sizez, grades, colors and its taste. It is mostly used in cookery, bakery, ice cream, pistachio butter and different kinds of chocolates.
To measure Pistachio yield (the kernel percentage) of closed- mouth pistachios, 100 grams of pistachios in shell are weighed. Then, unshell them to wight the kernels weight. The result shows the percentage of kernels in 100 grams of pistachios.
Fandoghi Pistachio is one of the popular kinds of pistachio and it is known as round pistachio . It is sorted in sizes as 28/30 and 30/32.
Jumbo (Kalleh Ghouchi) Pistachio is well known for its relatively large and round kernel and its shape which is almost round and is large in size. Kalleghuchi Pistachio is sorted in sizes of 18-20, 20-22, 22-24, 24-26.
Ahmad Aghaie is a type of Long Iranian pistachios. This type is considered as long shape. Its available sizes are 22-24, 24-26, 26-28, 28-30 The regular sizes are 24-26,26-28
Akbari is a type of long pistachio and is wildly cultivated. Its kernel is large and long. Available sizes are 18-20, 20-22, 22-24, 24-26

Pistachio is harvested from our orchards located in Saveh, Sirjan and Rafsanjan and being processed with fully Automatic machineries and hygienically packed in bulk gunny sacks.
